14.5kg Bulk Tub of Plain fondant Crème
Can also be used as a ready made Donut Icing.
Fondant Crème is a ready-made soft and creamy filling used for chocolate centres, donut and finger bun icing.
Select one of our pre-mixed flavours or create your own by mixing 100g of Fondant Crème Plain with 1/4 tsp of our Flavoured Food Colourings. Add to taste.
Directions: To soften, warm in the microwave in 2-3 second burst. Select a mould with deep sides - try our mould 21, 54, 59 or 86. Create a chocolate shell by brushing a continuous layer of melted choclolate all over the base and sides of the mould, ensuring there is no gaps. Leave to set.
Next, spoon or pipe in 1/2 tsp of fondant crème.
Cover by filling the mould to the top with more melted chocolate. Refrigerate to set again, and then enjoy!
Additional Tips:
Ideally keep the product below 50 degrees when it use. This is the ideal temperature.
60 degrees or higher, you will need to constantly stir and mix it, to avoid separation.
70 degrees is too hot, and will cause the product to separate, turning it into a very runny liquid rather than an icing consistency.
It may result in a coloured sugar syrup sitting on top of a product mass.
There is no food safety risk of it reaching a higher temperature, it is purely that the product will no perform as intended.
You can use the product for one session, and then allow the product to cool say overnight. For the next session use, re heat as per normal. The product should still be suitable to use as long as no external contaminates have entered the product during the prior use or whilst being stored.
